Official Communiqué of the Church of Jesus Christ on the Tragedy of the LeBaron Colony

The Church of Jesus Christ deeply regrets the tragedy these families in northern Mexico are experiencing

Official Communication:

Regarding the recent tragedy in which members of the LeBarón colony in Chihuahua were affected, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico expresses:

"We are heartbroken after learning of the tragedy that has affected these families in Chihuahua. Although we understand that they are not members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, our love, prayers, and compassion are with them as they mourn and remember their loved ones."
